This is an opportunity to work on your writing in an individualized context. This can take a variety of forms, including but not at all limited to:
MANUSCRIPT CONSULTATIONS
We begin by meeting in person, on the phone, or on Zoom, to discuss your goals and questions, as well as anything you would like me to focus on as I read your manuscript. I provide detailed written feedback in the form of annotations on your manuscript as well as a three page report in which I address your goals and questions, break down my observations regarding form, sound, imagery, and themes, propose revision strategies, and provide reading recommendations. You will receive this feedback prior to a second meeting, in which I will go over my comments and answer any questions you may have. Line edits are available for an additional hourly rate.
STARTING RATES: $250 for poetry manuscripts, $400 for prose manuscripts. Payment plans available.

PRACTICE SESSIONS
These sessions can be tailored to whatever your writing interests and goals happen to be. For example, these sessions might be a way to establish a new writing practice, structure an existing writing practice, make progress on a manuscript, start a new manuscript, work through blocks, or focus on a specific text. We begin by meeting in person, on the phone, or on Zoom to discuss your interests and goals and decide on a schedule as well as a structure for future meetings. There are a variety of ways we can work together moving forward, such as checking in to discuss writing progress and collaborating on setting new goals, workshopping material that you generate in response to personalized writing prompts, and talking about assigned readings.
SAMPLE RATE: $200 for four hour-long sessions.
